  • Secretary (2 year term)
  • Director (Education) (2 year term)
  • Nominating Committee (1 3 year position, 3rd year as Chair)
  • Delegate (4 years, last two years as Chief on the Board)

Members can nominate anyone they feel would serve the available role or nominate themselves. Send your nomination to nevadapt @aptanv.org with your nomination by September 20. You will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire and submit a picture to be included on the ballot if your nomination qualifies (must be an APTA Nevada member).


Tentative timeline, deadlines are approximate: 

  • February 1 Call for nominations (although nominations are accepted all year)
  • April 1 - SSIG begins search for candidates (SSIG VOTES IN MAY)
  • August 31 - September 10  -  Ballot closes. Candidates should have statements and photos to Nominating Committee/Office
  • September 15 -  Voting opens
  • October x -2 days  -  voting closes
  • October x   - APTA NV Business Meeting - winners announced and take office immediately following the meeting.
  • October/November - Meet-and-Greet and On-Boarding at Monthly BOD meeting

  • Vice President (2 year term)
  • Treasurer (2 year term)
  • Director (Membership) (2 year term)
  • Nominating Committee (1 three year position, 3rd year as Chair)
  • Delegate (2 year term)
  • PTA Representative(3 year term)
[PTA Representative is 3 year term, up for re-election in 2027, then 2030]
